Intersoft has made 2024’s list of medium sized Best Places to Work for Wellbeing by Great Place to Work UK. This is the second consecutive year that Intersoft has been included, ranking 34th out of over 100 companies.

The accolade was awarded by UK’s Best Workplaces, in association with Great Place to Work, and recognises companies that support and prioritise employee wellbeing, putting employees needs at the centre of the business.

This is the third award Intersoft has received this year from Great Place to Work, following the Great Place to Work accreditation, and being named as a UK’s Best Workplace for Development – a new award that recognises companies commitment to their employees continuous progression and growth.

Putting people first 

Intersoft have continued to keep their employees wellbeing at the heart of all their decisions. HR Manager, Laura Atkin, says this is an integral part of Intersoft’s workplace culture.  “We’re delighted to have received recognition of the steps we take to ensure our employees wellbeing. Putting our people first is crucial to maintaining a culture that nurtures both personal and professional success. It’s safe to say we’re committed to making Intersoft a place to work that is informed by the voices of our teams.”

Following the introduction of several wellbeing initiatives last year, including the Employee Assistance Programme, Vitality Health, Volunteer Time Off, and Mental Health First Aiders, Intersoft has continued to innovate and adjust the support offered to employees. This year saw the implementation of an Annual Leave Buy and Sell scheme, allowing Intersoft team members the chance to increase their holiday allowance or relinquish holiday time they felt they did not require.

Intersoft are also in the running for the remaining 2024 awards of UK’s Best Workplaces for Women, and UK’s Best Workplaces in Tech, the results of which will be announced in the upcoming months.
