Intersoft has received another accolade from Great Place to Work UK, earning them a spot as one of the Best Places to Work in Tech for 2023 in the Small and Medium-Sized business category.

The award, which is now in its sixth year, celebrates tech companies who recognise the importance of innovation and continuous evolution within the fast-paced technology industry. It represents the views of Intersoft employees, who partook in the Great Place to Work survey last year.

The survey asked employees to comment on how Intersoft supports their work-life balance, their sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction and financial security, as well as progression and personal development.

This is Intersoft’s 4th award from Great Places to Work UK. It follows Intersoft’s placing within the top third of Best Places to Work for Women last month, and ranking 12th as a Best Place to Work for Wellbeing. Earlier this year, Intersoft was also recognised as one of the UK’s overall Best Workplaces 2023, coming in at number 32 out of 100 medium-sized companies across the UK.

“It is great to be part of a company that not only invests in its future products but also in its people.” – Nils Pagotto, Development Team Manager

Rewarding Innovation

Intersoft strives to be at the forefront of innovation within the tech industry, constantly adapting to the ever-changing landscape and the needs of their customers.

Their recent nomination for the Best Innovation in Delivery Award at the eCommerce Awards 2023 is a testament to the hard-working teams behind the technology making delivery easier for eCommerce businesses.

Manager of the Development Team at Intersoft, Nils Pagotto, agrees that Intersoft’s forward thinking is one of their key advantages in the world of tech. “Intersoft has heavily invested in a newer technology stack that will allow us to maintain a more scalable, resilient and quicker time-to-market product. They have also brought on the existing members of the team along on this journey with time set aside to learn this newer domain. Personally it is great to be part of a company that not only invests in its future products but also in its people.”

Ellie Kilgallon, Human Resources Director at Intersoft, said of the achievement, “At Intersoft, like other technology companies we already know the most important thing is our people. With the rising demand for technical skills, it’s harder than ever to find skilled employees. That’s why we have made great strides to ensure employee engagement and retention are top priorities within all our strategies. We want to provide our employees with meaningful work, whilst encouraging training and putting a real focus on career development. We believe this has already had an impact, as 95% of employees said, ‘I am offered training or development to further myself professionally.’”
